The GAAâs second annual National Health and Wellbeing Conference will take place in Croke Park on Saturday, March 21. The theme will be: Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Healthy Clubs.
Organised by the Community & Health team in Croke Park, in consultation with the National Health & Wellbeing Committee, this free event will bring together some of the countryâs leading health and wellness experts as well as high profile GAA personalities from across all codes, including Conor Cusack who will deliver the keynote address.
A special invitation is extended to all new Club Health and Wellbeing Officers as elements of the conference will deal specifically with their role while other aspects will look at the on-going work of the new County Health & Wellbeing Committees. However, the day will be of interest to any GAA member interested in learning more about what health and wellbeing actually means and how participation in an organisation like the GAA can help support yours.
Tickets are free but limited and will be made available on a first-come first-served basis through an online registration process that will be opened in
early February when the full details of times and speakers are released on GAA.ie and associationâs social media platforms.
