(Wednesday, 4th June 2014) eircom, proud sponsors of the GAA Football All-Ireland Senior Championship, today launched its new fan support initiative, âYour Shout Countsâ giving fans the opportunity to âshoutâ for their favourite players each week.
Fan favourites on www.eircom.ie/gaa, including âWin, Lose or Drawâ and the Weekly Quiz, are continuing due to the phenomenal response received last season and incredible prizes including GAA Football All-Ireland Final tickets will once again be up for grabs. There were over 250,000 gameplays on the site by the end of last season, so competition is fierce!
With Your Shout Counts, GAA fans can comment on their favourite players and match incidents over the course of the season through www.eircom.ie/gaa. Each Shout will be counted, producing a weekly view of who the movers and shakers of GAA football are in the eyes of the fans. In addition, each week GAA Ambassadors will choose their favourite Shouts and these will be profiled online and on eircom GAA social media the following week. All fans who contribute a Shout will automatically be entered into a weekly draw for match tickets, mobile phones and eircom GAA merchandise.
The weekly online GAA Blog will be data driven, taking stats from fansâ predictions and Shouts, tracking what fans really think over the course of the season.
In addition, the eircom GAA social media channels will continue the match debate throughout the week and also offer match tickets on a weekly basis. For more information, see facebook.com/eircomGAA or follow @eircom_GAA
In addition, the popular Win, Lose or Draw league game and Weekly Quiz will feature again this year and all participants who correctly answer three out of five GAA football quiz questions will be entered into a weekly draw to win tickets to their choice of weekend football matches, with the winners of the four provincial Win, Lose or Draw leagues each winning 2 tickets to the All-Ireland Football Final
