Charleville 1-12 Courcey Rovers 1-10

Charleville emerged close winners over Courcey Rovers in the Rebel Og Premier 2 MHC at Castlelyons last Wednesday night.

Charleville got off to a good start with a goal by McDarra O'Brien.  We created a lot of chances.  Sean Og Gately got the first point in the 10th minute.  Fergus Lordan pointed a free and in the 16th minute Daniel Galvin had a point.  Fergus scored 2 more points to level 1-2 to 0-5 after 23 minutes.

Late in the second half Sean Og scored a penalty making it 3 points between the sides (1-10 to 1-7).

Fergus had three late pointed frees to make the score 1-12 to 1-10
