Celebration of County Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship win

Last Saturday night the club gather in Kinsale Hotel and Spa to celebrate the clubs great win in the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship.  Special guest was Noel O'Callaghan county development officer representing Cork County Board.  Sean Chairman welcomed all to the function and introduced Noel who spoke on behalf of the county board.  Sean Guhieen spoke on the management team.  Noel O'Callaghan presented Tadhg his medal and Tadhg then introduced his team mates who were presented their medals by Noel..  The management team of Sean Guhieen, Tim Lordan , Declan Walsh, Eoin Galvin, Noel Twomey, Stephen Nolan and Sean Nyhan were made a presentation by the the team leadership members in appreciation of their work during the past year.    Tim Lordan introduced the player of the year Billy Mulcahy who received the Chris Corcoran Courcey Rovers Player of the year from Diarmuid Corcoran.  Tim remembered in Chris in a very moving speech.  John Twomey spoke on the junior hurlers and presented Terence Collins the junior player of the year shield.  Sean O'Callaghan made a presentation to Sean Twomey on his great year with Cork Seniors, Cork U20's and UL.  To finish Declan made a presentation to Sean O'Callaghan in appreciation of his work with the hurlers.  De Barra house band provided the music on the night.
