A very enjoyable night was had in The Specked Door for the end of year gathering of both the Camogie & Ladies Football Club and GAA.  Pauline made a number of presentations to various girls that played for Cork and to Sarah Hayes on her retirement from playing.  

Niall Murphy on behalf of the underage made a presentation to Sean O'Callaghan and  Stephen Harrington as both have stepped down as underage Chairman and Secretary.   The junior hurlers received their South East Championship medals.  Brian Collins was footballer player of the year.  Fergus Lordan was U21 player of the year.  Tadhg O'Sullivan was the Premier Intermediate Players Player of the year.  Cormac Duggan was the Junior Player of the year.


Our annual long puc took place on Sunday 30th.   30 tems took part from the Premier Hurlers to our u6's.  

There was great competition among the adult teams with David, Fergus and Sean the winners on 39 shots.  In second Dan Keating, D.J. Twomey and Saoirse on 41 shots.  In third on 43 shots were Tadhg, Mike and Timmy after a shoot out with Aidan, Richie and Liam.  Next in on 44 shots were the Chairman, Ex Chairman and Premier Selector (John, Jerome and Mike).  

In the U15 section on 39 shots were Alex & Joey McCauley and Jamie Wills followed on 41 points by Sean Og Hales, James & Daniel Coakley and Darragh O'Connell and in 3rd were Paddy O'Donoghue, Rory Hogan, Micheal Harrington and Timmy Galvin.

In the family section Morgan family (Colm, Clodagh, Diarmuid Corcoran and Cillian Galvin)  in second place Cosgrove family (Tom, Luke and Dean)  and in 3rd place the Coakley family (Hannah, Julie, Paddy and Lily Murphy)
