"Martin Muldoon" memorial hurling tournament in Brinny on Saturday. In the opening game we were narrowly beaten in a very competitive game by Kinvara from Galway. Next game up, Courceys played great hurling to beat our hosts Valleys Rovers.  Eventual tournament winners  Newtownshandrum proved too strong for us in the 3rd game. This left Courcey and Valleys to play again in the Plate Final. Unfortunately Courcey ran out of steam  after a long day and Valleys reversed the earlier result to win the Plate.
