This App design is based upon the Mise ‘My Life’, information booklet. This booklet provides information on mental health, and highlights the services that are available when help is needed.
The Mise ‘My Life ‘, booklet was developed by members of KYSS. This is an organisation comprising of volunteer members of the community and it aims to help and support young people by providing information and promoting understanding of the challenges facing young people within our community. (Please see attached PDF copy of the booklet).
The App has been developed in partnership with two final year students from Cork Institute of Technology, this App will allow any user to have permanent access to vital information and resources, the resource could be lifesaving.
The App will be officially launched on Friday 7th April at 4pm in Actons Hotel, Kinsale by Sinead Glennon, Head of Mental Health Services, Cork and Kerry.
