Jeremiah was Club Chairman 1963-1971 and an ever present full back in the Courcey Rovers hurling and football teams of the 1940's, 50's and 60's.  

He won a total of 10 Carbery South West Championship medals.

Jeremiah was a great and committed club man.  Jeremiah had mighty club spirit.  He always put the interests of his club and team mates before himself.

It is only right and fitting that Jeremiah 's memory will live on in the story of Courcey Rovers with this annual tournament. 

Jeremiah was always a proud Courcies man.
