GAA supporters have a unique chance today to avail of a special offer on adult stand tickets for the GAA’s 1916 commemorative event in Croke Park on April 24, which takes place following the Allianz Football Leagues Division I and Division II finals.

From today, the GAA is making 1,916 adult stand tickets available for the discounted price of €25, a saving of €10 on the price for the event on April 24.  

The commemorative 1916 show titled ‘Laochra’ will present the story of Ireland in a theatrical production that will include the best elements of the Irish cultural entertainment with a cast of 3,500 performers and with full audience participation.

It will also highlight the role of Gaelic games and the GAA in the story of Ireland from the earliest days through to the revolutionary period and right up to the present day placing a strong emphasis on the national and international imprint of the Association.
